Elegance, refinement, and a proven heritage of performance horses provide the foundation for future successes for this two-year old Royal Prince gelding. Bred by Charlotte’s Creek Farm, London scored an 8.0 on movement and overall impression at his 2008 ISR/Oldenburg inspection.

In 2009, he began his in-hand show career at the Fair Hill Breed Show and was named the Reserve Champion Colt/Gelding, Reserve Champion Young Horse, and Reserve Grand Champion. At the prestigious Dressage at Devon, London earned a 2nd and 6th and he finished the season with a 4th place finish for USDF All-Breeds Awards for 2-yr old colts & geldings.

Sire Royal Prince is one of the most popular young dressage sires in the US currently. He placed 4th at the FEI World Championships for Young Horses as a 5-yr old. In 2009 he was Reserve Champion at Fourth Level for both USDF Region 1 and the BLM Championships. Royal Prince was also named the 2008 & 2009 USEF Dressage Breeding Sire of the Year.

London’s dam Akino is a daughter of the renowned stallion Enrico Caruso, sire of 11 Approved Stallions, including Kostolany. Enrico Caruso (Mahagoni) was the Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Testing and became a successful show horse, competing at S level in all disciplines. Akino’s damsire, Schonfeld, is one of the all-time leading sires of Hunters in the US.

London is an excellent prospect for the competitive dressage rider. He is sound, has no vices or health concerns, and is good to work with on both a daily basis and at shows.
