He is a full-brother to the approved GRP stallion Popeye – who is proving himself in dressage competition and production of quality foals.

FS Pour l' Amour, Pogo's sire, was the Champion of both his licensing and Performance Test. He competed at the Bundeschampionat and has sired a number of approved sons and highly decorated mares.

States Premium Nice Touch, Pogo's dam, has produced four States Premiium Mares and one licensed son in her career. Her sire, Night Star 1, and grandsire, Nobel, offer further proven performance bloodlines.

Pogo had a very successful year in 2009 at breed shows. He is earning scores above 77% and top ribbons at shows such as Stone Tavern and Dressage at Devon. Pogo has proven his quality.

Pogo has an enormous personality and good nature. He is mannerly to work with, yet knows when to show off. He is great to take to shows and adapts to new environments easily. Pogo is working well under saddle at all three gaits. He is green, but very willing and relaxed and will be ready to show this summer. Pogo has three very nice gaits with a big stride, good balance, and a natural rhythm. Pogo has clearly become a barn favorite and we see a wonderful future ahead of this special pony.
