Personally, I think this is an excellent idea. Why would you NOT have your horse microchiped? The value of our horses is exponential, yet we leave them in stalls or paddocks in unlocked facilities which almost anyone brave enough could gain access easily to and simply walk off with our horses. Crazy isn’t it when you think about it. So many of our horses look alike, unless you know the horse personally. For those of you buying your horse off a video or flying somewhere to try a horse, how do you know your getting the horse you thought? Competition horses, how do you KNOW that the horse competing is the horse it is supposed to be. So many scenarios so many reasons, this is a super idea!
